Public Policy
Luncheons - Policy-makers and opinion-leaders meet with
Chamber members for candid discussions of issues like health care,
energy, insurance reform - giving members a real opportunity have
an impact on matters that affect their businesses.
Business After
Hours - Networking receptions are held after business hours,
hosted by Chamber members at their business locations.
New Member
Receptions - The Chamber hosts special receptions periodically
to welcome new members and to introduce them to the organization,
its programs and its leadership.

Connections - The Women's Business Connection presents regular opportunities
for informal conversation and structured networking. Business men
and women are welcome. Just remember to bring plenty of business
cards… "Hi" Connections always result in plenty of new
business contacts.
Special Events:
Annual Meeting - This special luncheon meeting is a forum to
review the Chamber's accomplishments of the previous year, to set
the course for the next, and to recognize the contributions of the
Chamber's outstanding volunteer leaders.
Business-to-Business EXPO - This is the longest running
business exposition of its type in Eastern Massachusetts. This
premier networking opportunity features a trade show with more
than 100 companies exhibiting their goods and services, a 7:44
Breakfast, Luncheon, and a Business After Hours. South Shore
Success Profile Awards are presented at the luncheon, honoring
member businesses that have experienced significant growth in
recent years.
Golf Tournament - This popular event provides an
informal opportunity for executives and employees of member firms
to golf, network and renew friendships.
Washington D.C. trip - Every spring, a delegation from the
South Shore Chamber of Commerce visits Washington to meet with
members of Congress and the administration to promote issues
important to the region's business community. |
