This area is the birthplace of both large-scale granite
quarrying and the first commercial railroad in America, built in
1826. Has hiking, rock climbing, picnicking, and bird
watching.15min rim trail, Little Granite Railway Quarry is a

USS Salem

Quincy Shipyard at the Fore River Bridge
Built at the Fore River shipyard where it is now docked, the USS
Salem served from 2949 to 1959, primarily as the flagship of the
Sixth Fleet. It is now home to the U.S. Naval Shipbuilding
Museum. Tours. Overnight school and scout programs by
appointment.
